I have always been so nervous about taking the leap, there’s a reason for this, but I will get into that another time 😊. Mariam contacted me about photographing her with her grandchildren; she had put so much thought into everything and even had their outfits for the shoot made! I found the whole concept incredibly sweet, and while I was shaking on the inside (lol), I knew I couldn’t disappoint Mariam. Also, a disclaimer, I know the family, so I didn’t have any reason to be as nervous as I was!

I am so glad that I took on this opportunity. When it comes down to it, my joy in photography comes from capturing precious memories for people and knowing that Mariam would forever have these photos with her and her grandchildren made me very happy.

They say it’s good to be pushed outside of your comfort zone, so let’s see how this goes 😊 Incase you didn’t pick it up from this post, the time has come... I am finally dipping my toes into family photography!
